Default What shortblock would you pick for boost? 7k max?

I have a budget of 7k max for a TT short block. It's an LS2 right now and I'm using the Katech 427 sleeved LS2 as the benchmark. How many lbs of boost will it hold with the low compression pistons? Is there something better? Can you o-ring the block and heads to hold more boost? What shortblock would you buy for under 7k?

What is your HP goal's? The bigger the ci. you have the less boost you will need to make the power.

Well I really want to buy something I can grow into instead of getting the bare minimum for my goal but if I had to pick a number I'd say 800hp. Seems to be the most possible useable hp for the street. I want something I can use everywhere, daily, strip, and road course. The cam will remain fairly mild.
