that's a good deal, I would do it.

The 95 is really not worth any more than 6-7k probably even with the newer engine and wheels.

So essentially you are getting the ls1 for 8-9k which is less than you would expect to pay for a 2002 with that mileage.

Of course, I'm sure the cost of the mods to the lt1 is more than it would be worth in resale value, so it really depends on if its worth it to your bro but if he wants an ls1 that's a good trade.

Hey guys, Im mumu_624's bro. Im just undecided on what i want i guess. I love my LT1, and i wouldn't mind having an LS1......I'm sure its sounds like a pretty good trade to you guys, but i have literally changed everything in my car, with exception of my driveshaft, and rearend, which will soon be changed. I have almost $17,000 in my car, so when i pay the other 2 grand on top, i'll really be paying 19,000 for that ls1. I know you dont get your money back from modding, but i'd be better off just keeping this car, and buying a LS1 and building that later on.

thats just the way i see it...

Thanks

Well, I'd say keep it then. Like I said it really depends on whether its worth it to you because of all the time/effort/money you have in the car to trade for the ls1. Since you will never get back the value of all that selling it, then basically you just have to think about whether you will want to sell it at some point (in which case this is probably one of the better offers you will get on it).

But if you didn't plan to sell it and were going to keep it forever, then just do that and get an ls1 when you can afford to.

so...the real question is..why would this guy want to trade you a practically brand new car...I would take the 2002 out and hold it to the wood before I would even consider it.

DO IT! But give me the WS6 hood before you do. Then you won't feel like your losing as much money on the LS1 because you will give him a car without a hood!

Seriously though if you love the LT1 then keep it! You can always get an LS1 for 8-9k and build from there. I've even seen them go for cheaper on this site.

if that's how you feel hold on it man. If you can't see yourself parting from it then it's not worth it. I tihnk your right too hold on to the car, considering how much you invested into it.
