I've been searching for the answer to this for several weeks now with no luck. If a couple of worm gears in the Torsen posi are sheared, is there a place I can buy the internals and rebuild the posi by replacing the worm gears? I've got a Torsen laying around with just this problem and I'd like to rebuild it if I can find a place that sells the worm gears. Anyone know the answer to this?

Non serviceable, same as the Tru Trac, once it pops, it pops.

I believe you can rebuild the Auburn posi. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks for the info guys.

Auburns can be rebuilt but its not cut and dry like a clutch pack ( eaton ) style. Its hard to know whats wrong without taking it apart but you can send it back to auburn and they machine the seats and install new cones. At least they used to might wanna look into

Can you buy Torsen unit for a 10 bolt from someone other than GM?

SLP used to have them on their website but they don't seem to be there anymore.
