Default Fuel pressure problem

I did the 3.4L to ls1 swap in a 94 camaro and im only getting about 40 psi of fuel pressure and i need 60. I was thinkin that i just needed to change the fuel pump to an ls1 fuel pump but i was told they were all the same and i needed an adjustable regulator, but im not sure what regulator i should get? Would an lt1 adjustable regulator work, if so wheres a good place to get one?TIA

You would be better off with a bigger pump. That pump wasn't designed to put out the volumn of fuel that the LS1 might need.

any pump should flow enough at idle. When the injectors reach the higher duty cycles is when the pump struggles to maintain adequate flow

Just get a factory pump and the Corvette filter/regulartor from GM. It's pre-set at 58 psi as I recall.

And yes, you need almost 60 psi. 40 will run but will run like crud.

What are you currently running for a regulator? The single feed LS1 fuel rails do not have a regulator, as the regulator on those cars was in the tank. Are you trying to re-use the v6 reg?

The vette filter/reg would be a great option.
