cant wait, its all getting close, i am ordering my hp tuners tonight, pistions are suposed to ship today/tommorow, we'll see. and my rods should ship friday If that happens, my machinest is ready to rip. i should be able to start assembling the motor by the end of next week, that meens possably istall of next weekend if all the parts come in. probably wont be till the following week but we'll see :chug:

i will be doing most of this one on my own. for a few reasons. id like to say i did it, ken is soooo busy i hate to bug him for this, i know how much shit he has going on and i know i can do this so to bug him is silly, and work is sooooooooooooo nuts finding the time to get down to east side has been imposable. i have been trying for weeks to get there but with running the company it is super hard to do.

as for machine work, no. mybuddy scott is doing it from SK he is a big name with alot of people, does alot of quick street motors ect.

i will be doing most of this one on my own.

The sense of accomplishment and finishing a motor project is great.

I did like 75% of the work, the obvious stuff I couldn't do with the Cobra was cut valve seats and it was too hard for me to drop the motor in myself, so I had a shop do it- and I helped with that. I even have the tuning so???are and massaged a tune to work pretty well.

Take pictures and DON'T drink while you torque.

The block pics were taken with a 6.2 mp camera, the rest of the pics were taken with a 1.3 mp camera phone. :judge:

i had it in last years motor.
its been good. its the same as the lunati crank just doesnt have the finish of it, so i had my machine shop modify it and polish it ect ect so all the oiling ect isnt "eagle"

im not going all out.
this build is a budget build to get me threw this year. its not cheep, but its budget. reusing old heads, old cam fast intake ect ect
im going to run this setup see how she does. if its still together and healthy maybe i will just keep running it next season.
then i will get the 6 bolt heads, bigger better crank, carb intake solid roller ect ect ect.
this season i set my goals to run 9.5 and win some races here in quick street and Have FUN with the car. going all out again is going to put me into not having fun again.

im going to try to get into my car and enjoy it again like i used to befor i started trying to break records and go faster then the next guy.
i want to run the car then hang out inbetween rounds instead of flying all over the place getting this and that, flowing nitrous changing plugs ect ect ect. i want to race, come back to the trailer, grab a coke and chill out. i want to have fun. to have fun means at the end of my build i havent spent every penny i have saved just to run a big number.
