Default 4000 Stall and my top end

I'm really wanting to go with a 4k stall in my T/A. What I was wondering is will it hurt my top end? I know it will pull real hard down low, but what about hitting it on the highway?

If you tune it right you can lock up the converter on the top end and have the best of both worlds. However, if you choose not to lock your converter at WOT (some guys don't like the idea) you will lose a little bit of efficiency. It won't be anything drastic, but your timeslip may show 1-3 mph missing.

Hitting it from a 60 mph roll will put you in the meat of the stock torque band with a 4000 stall assuming you still have the stock gears. It's pretty much a win/win. Of course I would stay away from high speed roll racing, but that's a rich guy sport anyway.
