Well i just got done puting in a new 4l60 in my camaro.And i drive about 20 miles and this low oil light pops up.I was like wtf i just change my oil like 500 miles ago .So i go and buy some oil and then go to put it in.And my oil is at where its supose to be.Help would be nice.

I would check the connection to the oil sensor. You may just have a bad sensor or connector.

Turn your key on and press and hold the odometer till the lite goes off. Note this in mind though, check your oil to make sure you have plenty in there you could have leaked some out of the rear seal when you changed tranny's.

may have pinched or cut the wires on the oil level sensor. it is next to the starter on the passenger side of the bellhousing
