Default Hmmm..a new 4L60E, who?

I've narrowed it down to Rossler or Performabuilt. The guys at Performabuilt seem like they have there stuff together. Under $1700 for a brand new trans shipped to my door is hard to beat. Good customer service to.

Out of these 2 which would you go with, any other suggestions? Really not looking to spend more then $1800. Anybody have experiences? I've searched and found posts on how they look great, but how about some performance results, track times? Must be able to see 600-650rwhp.

Thanks.

Well nothing against performabuilt because two of my buddies have their tranny in their cars. One of them is working flawlessy and my other buddy's tranny just took a **** and it only has about 1000 miles on it. He has their top tranny and he only made 390 to the wheels. I also have a friend with a Rossler tranny and his worked perfect. It was around 2000 miles on it when a tranny cooler line busted and sprayed fluid everywhere and burned up the clutches!

Rossler has had a good name for a long time. A trans for 1700 scares me a bit. I'm not sure how you can make a good profit selling it that cheap? Something has got to give?

Well the recipie is ,
Production building not one builder one trans
buying several 100 cores at a time
standardized building every unit the same
Buy parts several hundred at a time
Keep quality at a max so return is minimized wit many check points
fedex ground shipping
sell high volume

Kinda you can sell 3 things for 10 dollars but its a whole lot easier to sell 100 things for 5 dollars

Add thouse things together and yes you can make a good profit trust me.
Though admittantly Our prices are a bit low but thats to work towards getting our name out , Right now pofit is not the goal BRANDING is . Though for the very reason you mention I have often wondered if we should be selling higher. Though we have had several price increases since we started
