I will vouch for this, I've tested Trifecta's handheld programmer and it does work.

Now if he'd make a data acquisition / scan tool to go with it.

Thats a damn good idea. They send it to you, you do some scanning/data logging of you car, send it back to them for analysis and then create a tune based on that. They tune it till your happy (up to what, 10 tmes or something?) anyways, so why not just get it right the first time
