Default Tach signal

Just fired my 402 and I have no tach where does the signal came from or any other thoughts on it

If your car is a 2000 its the #10 white wire coming out of the computer.

yes its a 2000 but i'm wondering if there is something that would be causing the tach not to work no that I did a motor swap

If your relucter ring on your crank is newer, more than likely you have the 58X relucter ring instead of the 24X relucter. The PCM cant figure out what rpm its at

It's an eagle crank for a ls1 so it should be the right one I would think

My buddy had the same problem with his 2000 SS. After we put the 402 in, his tach would not work and he had a SES regarding cam sensor since it was moved to the front timing cover. He turned something off in LS1 Edit regarding the SES light and it started working again. No problems since.

ok thanks the car also will not run unless at half throttle
