Just Clayed LS2, i Have piston to valve specs... i just clayed my ls2 using a custom cam from TSP, which was a 228- .588 on 110 +2 , WITH NO HEAD GASKET i got 80 thousands clearance on the intake and exhaust, using there 243 heads with stock valves. The block and heads have not been chopped at all. This should answer a lot of questions about what cams will and will not fit...
