Default Futral F13 or Torquer 2?

Futral cam specs are 230/232, .595/.585, on 112 LSA

Torquer 2 specs are 232/234, .595/.598 on a 112 lsa.

The torquer 2 powerband states 1800-6400 RPM while the F13 is 2500-6800 RPMs.

Is there really that much of a difference in the power band? I was leaning towards the torquer 2 as Ive heard nothing but positive things about it but Ive also heard nice numbers from the F13.

I LOVE my F13 cam from Futral, but I am sure that the Torquer 2 is a nice cam also.

The F13 powerband is normally lower than is stated on the site. Most people seem to make peak power around 6500-6600 with the F13. It is a great cam. When I took the plunge I went slightly bigger with the F14, and was very please with my choice. Any Futral cams are good.

+1 for the F13. I have been very happy with this cam since the day I got it. I have yet to find something I don't like about it.

Those powerbands aren't even comparable from one manufacturer to the next. I mean, who decides where the powerband starts? I say it starts at 0rpm.

The Futral cams are great grinds. I think they're Cam Motion lobes, aren't they?

Ive had both cams, but installed heads when I went to the torquer2. I did like my f13, but had was "forced" to upgrade cams. If youve done your research you know what this means.

The powerband is subjective. In the end, youll be hard pressed to tell the two cams apart. If I was going to do it over, Id probably go even bigger than the T2, but it is a nice starter cam.

Cam motion only does the grinding the lobes were created and designed by Allan as well as all the other cam specs. Allan just sends Cam motion the CNC package and tells them to grind that cam.

I like them because of Allan's lobes. He designs all the lobes for all of his cams. They are only ground by cam motion, but it is a Futral lobe. for his high lift stuff he has to send them the CNC file to make the cam.

I have the TQ v2 and I think both cams are good. My buddy had the F13 and we were dead even when we raced. Both were cam and boltons cars.
