I expect my 422 iron block (236/240 601/609 114LSA cam) to put out about 480+ rwhp on my A4 C5.
What injectors should I get???
Im thought about #36 SVOīs (flowing 42 at 60PSI).
I donīt want to go too small and run lean, but also not want to go too big and start getting idle problems.
Need your help.
Thanks, Michael

Those 36 SVOs (even SVO 30s would be enough) will be more than enough. You won't have idle problems.
I once made 480 RWHP with the stock 26.4 lb injectors. They were completely maxed out.

Beleive the Colonel, he could provide you with an entire dissertation to back up his statements as he did for me.

I plan on running 36lbers on my 422 also. What other fuel system mods do you have planned?

Itīs good for up to 550 rwhp.
For the nitrous I will install a seperate fuel system.

But I thought to better go #36īs because a firend of mine, who has the same engine in (beside he has stock crank....so itīs a 386 or so) sees >80% duty cycles on the #30īs on high revs. He puts out 440 rwhp on his 6 Speed. So I thought with about 70 crank hp more I would kill the #30īs.
So should I do the 36`s??
BTW, where can I get them at a good price??
At thefordsource.com they are not listed?!?!?
The #36īs are dark blue, right?
Thanks,
Michael
