Southern Members - Wtb: Sbc 400 AL Area

Want to Buy SBC 400 long block or short block (would like it to be a long block if can be). Just let me know what you got. Don't want nothing that has been bored .60 over either. Would like to get a decent block. This is not for me it is for a buddy which does not have a screen name on here just trying to help him out. I want to stay as close to Huntsville, AL as I can.

i'm in temple ga,19 miles off the ga/al line.i got 2 complete 400 small blocks if you r intrested.in the $500-$700 range.depends on what u want with the motors.

every 400 i've ever ran was .060 over.. ran mid 9's on motor.. even faster on the shot.. whats the deal with no 60 over stuff?

Because pretty much after .60 over there junk(that's if they already smoke). Unless you wanna sleeve the block or get really luck with boring it again. This is going to be a street driven truck. He is just looking for about 400 hp. It is a really sweet ass looking 70-80 model not sure of the year. But it is step side as has wood in the bed.
