Default VHT Nightshade HELP

Ok well I got the niteshade on to the color I like....now I need to know if I polish or wetsand it before I add clear to it??

I'd help, but I haven't done it before. There's a huge sticky about it on this forum. That should help.

I'm in the middle of doing my corners right now. I just wet sanded the lenses with 600 grit until they were totally smooth and then applied the night shade. Then after about 5 hours I put a coat of clear.

You don't have to smooth the piece before you put the nightshade on.

to answer your question i didn't clear mine when i got the color i wanted i wet sanded with 2000 grit and then polished by hand heres some pics i've done it with all my marker lights. ohh yea and i agree it looks better when you smooth the side markers no nasty lettering showing with the tint.

with nightshades it can be tricky because you have to get it right the first time. Getting it off if you mess up sucks.

well I wish I would have took off the letters...but i cant now....all the turn signals have already been painted and cleared...
