Default Single GT-K 1000 turbo 383

I'm getting my combo narrowed down. I have decided to go with the slightly smaller Turbonetics GT-K 1000 vs. the Precision T-76 GTS in favor more low end power (faster spool). I will be putting it on a LS1/LS6 based 383 stroker. I am leaning towards the Lingenfelter GT2-3 / GT-7 cam and around 9:1 compression. Intercooler will be an air-to-air w/ Alky Control methanol injection. My goal is 750+ rwhp.

Anybody see anything wrong with this combo? Could I run more compression (9.25:1) or would you suggest less? Which cam would best suit this combo, the GT2-3 or the GT-7?

Also, what would the turbo guru's extimate the full spool to be w/ 10-15 lbs of boost?

That turbo is a little on the small side for a 383. The 76GTS or ST series is much better suited.

it could it be that your 76 is making positive boost by 2500rpm
it could be spooling much sooner positive manifold pressure and spooling is 2 different things ....correct me if im wrong but that seems to be the case
i would think you would need a 80mm and a .96 ar on the exhaust side

Like said above an ST series will do the trick, or the very least a 76GTS. A 383 is more then enough for a small T4 flange and turbine wheel.
