Is the upper PHB needed? what is it good for?

uh.... what?... theres only one PHB.. unless you're talking about the BMR relocation kit which is two bars instead of one.

yup the upper that ties the driver side to the passenger side where the PHB meets... then the PHB goes to a place on the rearend

so whats its use... can i call it a weight reduction and toss it

Definitely time to start spending more time under your ride...there is another bar there, but you are right...it isn't a panhard rod. It is the upper panhard brace.

General consensus is to keep it in there...it doesn't weigh enough to justify tossing it, and seems to have structural significance.

Yeah I was talking about a PHB not the brace... there is only one PHB as in there is only the one bar locating the rearend, and thats the part we generally replace. Thats what I meant. I thought he was asking about wether he should replace it or not, thats why I brought up that relocation kit which is as I understand it a new brace right?

BTW meentss02 I am in love with your car. It's been one of my favorites since I joined this forum.

Yeah, it replaces the upper PHB support brace and puts that hook in it so you can run 3" true duals over the axle.

It includes the upper brace, but not a new PHB...you'll still have to buy that seperately.
