Default 885rwhp/814rwtq-little CDN 347 and F1R, need more fuel!!!!

Well I put a boost sensitive regulator on the car on hopes I could bandaid the situation for my lack of fuel for Norwalk. No go-but what I did find was my last blowoff was opening under boost a tad-so we installed a new Procharger Race blowoff. Same old deal only it happened even sooner-AFR was 10.1 up to 5500 where it started to climb to 11.5-we stopped the pull around 5800 as my AFR warning light is programmed to come on at 11.5 AFR. Injectors are 130% duty cycle at 5000 rpm-boost is 20-guage only reads to 20-time for a new boost guage. Same 4.13 pulley-blower RPM is only 65000 at 6800-max is 74000-no slip. This why the car is just plain "Stupid" on the street. Time for 96lb's, a driver box and some dual walbro's-no matter what we will be at Norwalk. Rodney-please get my spare ready! Dave(Sled28's)-thanks for the stout motor. Bob(EPP)-these F1R's rock!!!!!

Which fuel pump are you running now? What base pressure?

It's the Bosch 044, base pressure at 58 psi-it ramps up to 75 psi then drops to 40 psi. Lonnie from LPA is making me a Dual Walbro setup-he wants me to try that first before doing line, rails or a driver box and low-imp injectors.

Hey bro-where have you been? Running the 97-98 lines-so a 3/8 feed and 5/16 return-Lonnie wants me to try the dual pumps first before attacking the lines and the rails-this way if we do it all and it still doesn't work I won't be scratching my head.

I'm running the dual nozzle Alky from Julio-I beleive one nozzle is a 15 and the other is a 10. IAT temp is goes from 75 to 45 degrees.

I saw that you had good luck with the Accelronics and the 96's?

Great #s! I believe your feed line is sufficient as we've made over 1,100rwhp with a stock f-body feed line.

I believe you are going to need 2 bosch 044 for that power level. I have 2 of them and no problem's.Also using 60lb mototron injector's and everything is great.Congrat's on the #'s. That 347 is screaming !!!

Id agree. The Walbros can not handle the same sort of pressures the Bosch will.

The Bosch will maintain excellent flow rates even up to about 100psi.

The Walbros start to struggle over 70-80psi or so, and flow rates drop off quite a bit.

Im using 2x044's at 63psi base pressure, ramping up to 82psi at max boost ( 19psi obviously ). My fuel pressure is rock solid.

Unfortunately I cannot fit 2 Bosch pumps in the tank. Lonnie says he has guys making 900 rwhp with the Walbro's so we'll see. We'll take it step by step. Do you guys have pics of your dual Bosch setups? I need to keep this setup clean and simple and most off it has be able to be daily driven.

The thing that strikes me as really weird is the bosch pump holds pressure fine at 75psi, then immediatley drops to 40 psi at around 5500-no gradual decrease or drop just slam.

congrats, please get some videos. be careful that's a lot of power on the street!

if you are dropping fuel press that fast so suddlenly, you might wanna keep your foot off the pedal. even forged motors can be blow'd up!

Maybe its your fuel pressure regulator that cant hold the 75psi...
