Paint & Body Work - TA Headlamps

I was wondering if there is a wat to stop the headlight from flipping up/down then you arm/disarm the alarm system using the key fob?

Is there a sound coming from the lights when you use the keyfob? If so your gear in the motor is striped and you will have to fix it.

sorry dont mean to hijack, but the same thing started to happen to mine 2 days ago, making the grinding sound too. How do I fix this, is there a guide somewhere?

The gear is stripped inside, do a search, you will find lots on it. Everything from replacement of the motor, to putting brass gears in, to turning the stripped gear around to catch the other side. Only 1 side of the gear is stripped.
