Turn Signal vent mod

Has anyone else tried to do the turn signal vent mod? I think it looks good. I have been thinking about trying it, but it looks kind of complicated. Check it out.

I would like to see the whole car also. I would probably use LED's. I think it would look nice if it's done clean.
