'07 Silverado Advice / help / opinions / suggestions
I may be in the market to buy a new '07 Silverado and I wanted to get some help or advice on negotiating the price. I will most likely buy from Lone Star chevy on 290. I test drove the texas edt '07 Silverado and I was in heaven My 2500HD is bad *** n' all but I want something more economical. Any other dealership that may offer good rebates n' such?
What about trading in a vehicle? good or bad?
What can I do/say to get that # down?! Anybody here sell trucks lol??
thanks in advanced.
Jerry

If you have already set your mind on Lone Star, then go ask if they have any rebate offers. They can look them up for you. Other than that, you can always put dealers up against each other. ie: One dealer has a better price, see if Lone Star is willing to beat that price.

honestly, figure out what you ultimately want, as far as truck, options color etc....., and use bmguypower.com to locate your truck. Then once you find it, use their online quote link to get prices. This is how I have bought both of my last 2 trucks and got great deals on them, although with the new ones being, well, new, they might not be willing to deal much yet. Online, I have never had issues with them trying to screw me by only giving me rebates or knocking price down.
They should give you the best price possible on the truck and then apply any rebates.
I bought my 2006 Z71 from Munday and felt like I got a great deal, my previous one before that, I bought my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew from LaRoche in Brenham, and got an unbelievable deal.

Id wait til the 08 models come out though, should be early fall and hopefully they will have the A6 in the trucks, wish they still had the 5spd stick as an option.

Try ordering one with all of the opitons you want. I did that a couple of months ago and got it for invoice plus destination fee. There was also a 1000 rebate at the time. I think I got a pretty good deal.
+1 for going through the internet sales. They are more willing cut you a deal.

You should be able to buy just about any vehicle at invoice minus rebates. How do you get that price you ask? Simple, find the invoice price, the current rebates, and just tell the sales manager that is what you will pay. If they won't sell, go somewhere else.
You can find a general invoice price if you build the vehicle on kbb.com or edmunds.com, then check the Chevy website for rebates or specials in your area.
