2500 slip the clutch for the first ten feet or so and then roll on the throttle. If the tires/pavement is warm there shouldn't be any wheel-hop and you are on your way.
If you are asking about launching a six speed what does 427TTA4 mean?

well the main reason im askin is because I raced a modified sti at a light and he took of lets say around a 2 1/2 car lead and I had to play catch up till mid of third. Then a major bolt-on GT the stang got a 1 1/2 car lead on me and I played catch up again and I know it is not my reaction its the way I take of but like they say practice makes perfect I guess ima jus start practicing. Thanks for all of you guys inputs but im still open for ways to improve my ft. times

DTE Stage V, Stage 4+ T56, Bad *** clutch, DR's and bounce it off the rev limiter! Not really a set of DR's and dumping at 4000 rpm's works very well for me. I also put it in competitive driving mode.

I have tried his techiniques and they work great. Every car is different and so is the driver. I got rid of the stock rear tires and got a set of nittos. Big differance! It is a great writeup and Ranger can drive like a ****!

I drove on Hoosier QTP's for a while. They would hook on 4500 rpm drop, on a 200 shot from a red light. I felt real good. I have never got to hook on drag radials or street tires.
