Default LT1 nitrous opinions needed

I didnt have much luck in the nitrous section so I thought I would post in the LT1 section. Anybody use a Zex nitrous kit? What are your opinions and or results? Also what are some of the other kits being used ? Birthday time is real soon and thought I might give the TA a 100 shot!

Buy the dynotune wet kit. I think it is 360 and it works. Nice quality cheap power.

The reason you didn't have much luck in the nitrous section is because most of the guys in there know what they are talking about and stay away from Zex. I have personally heard nothing but bad things about Zex. Go with one of the popular site sponsors: Harris Spped Works, DynoTune or Nitrous Outlet.

I personally have a HSW kit and would not have it any other way.

I loved my NX wet kit, and now I am going to TNT.

Good luck with your car. I hope it runs good with what ever kit you put on.

TNT ALL THE WAY!!!!! i have the F2 Plate kit!!!! its the best! only nitrous system i'd own is a TNT! i use to have a NOS and then a ZEX then a NX and they didn't put out the numbers like they claim but with TNT if it says 100 you'll get no less then 100!!!! i spray'd a 100 shot on the dyno and got 125 out of it! i love TNT!!! only problem is your going to pay ALOT more then the others but trust me its well worth it!!!

some kits are rated at the wheels where as others are rated at the crank, thats something that has to be considered as well, NX does make good stuff as does TNT, HSW and Nitro Dave

by the way Zex does measure theres in fly HP...I have yet to lose with my set up..and i only have the 100 shot jets in now...i will be putting the 125's in soon though..last night i beat a 71 roadrunner with a 400 block..it was some kind of stroker..the guy said it was a 450 stroker but have no clue how he got that...keith black pistons.. .545/.550 cam ported and polished aluminum heads..race gas..at 120 he was a couple feet behind my bumper..it was an awesome race.

I had a 125 zex wet shot on my 96 and it worked very well but showed 100 at the wheels with a pcm for less tune. I also had a problem with the first box not working but the second box they sent out worked perfect. It had some kind of problem in the circuit board in the box b/c if you hot wired the solenoids they would click. I thought it was a good kit but my HSW dual nozzle on my 2000 z28 is a much better value with i think better parts.

Thanks for all the info everyone! I was looking at the dynotune lt1 wet kit and that is looking better to me now than the zex kit was.
