Default Possible deck review for me please

Hi, I have the option to buy this deck : http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ePRHGnb...Alpine+CDA9857 for alot less then crutchfield best buy etc, I know these Monsoon cars can be kinda picky.

So I just thought I'd ask will this work, what I want is a mp3 deck, thats better then the monsoon. I'm not a huge car audio file but the better and lower priced the better.

I already have door speakers *alpine S* and will do sail panels and rear at same time of HU install.

I like the look of this deck both on specs and how it looks .

You guys know a ton more so thought i'd check if it'll work for me.

Sorry...I thought the answer was so obvious that somebody would pick it up.

Of course it will work. I don't know where you heard that the Monsoon systems can be "kinda picky" because it's not true. The Monsoon head unit is simply an ordinary Delco radio and it can be replaced with any standard aftermarket unit that you can make fit in the dash.

Just make sure you hook up the amplifier remote turn on wire. You should be good to go. I have an alpine 7985 (I think it was that number) and it runs great.

It's quite alright, as you can see. I read what I can and it's not much help. Car stereos are a mystery to me.

Thanks for the help, and i'll be sure to have an amp remote wire done.

Any aftermarket HU can go in almost any car for $30-$40 (labor) retail.
