Default 11s possible with this?

I think I can do 11s with boltons only

I did a 12.8 @ 110 mph with a sorry 8.3 1/8 mile @ 86 mph... My best was a 8.07 @ 89.25 mph...

I had Lts ORY, LM1, SLP lid and K&N , CAI, and Aluminum flywheel and LS7 clutch Nitto 555Rs and spohn LCA..... since then I installed handling suspension components that may slow my car down. Springs, koni shocks and 35 mm front swaybar and PHB. I also have a 25% u/d pulley and Im installing a Moser 12 bolt with 3.73s.

I was wondering if with slicks I can pull a 1.6 60' and possibly get in the 11s with just boltons. Thanks.

--------------------------------------------

to sum it up, I already have boltons and full race weight, But Im not that heavy. Probably 3300 pounds without driver.

if I was running potential 12.5 or 12.4 1/4s ( based on my 1/8 mile time with a 1.90 60')

I think with a 1.7 or better 60' I can be in the 11s with just boltons.

My questions were , with the 12 bolt 3.73s does that sound possible? and about right with the 60' times?

i dont think you could do 11's and i think you would need more then a 3.73

X2.....the 12 bolt alone is gonna add atleast another 65lbs and like ya said you set your car up to handle well in turns so its not gonna launch real well off the line.you may see about a 12.4 with what you currently have but I dont think you will get past that.

I have a more freely breathing flowing exhaust than that and does the 12 bolt really weigh 65 pounds more? Jeez. how much isw the 9" more then?

th eoly thing you have is more agressive gearing. I think alone with the pulley I could have donw low 12s. So Im sure If now I get he 12 bolt I can launch it better and get a better 60' maybe.

lets see.

edelbrock headders are 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 with a 3.5 collector i think they flow a little better then the pacesetters and i dont think the lm II vs lm 1 is any thingh to argue about
you could also get a P&P throttle body

well I think my times suffered from a number of these issues.

clean my TB up, clean my K&N, change my oil, hot weather. and I think I need a tune.

that is some power robbing things there.

However, I still ran a best time of 8.03 @ 89.4 mph with a mid 1.8 60', launched at 4500 RPM and still bogged ( aluminum flywheel fault)

I will go next week with my new 12 bolt and Mickey Thompsons ( nitto 555rs dont hook as good) and see how much better I will do. Definite 7s in the 1/8 finally. I just hope I get 7.8s, I know 7.9s were possible if I had clean oil only with this weeks setup and launched it a bit higher.
