Default well i blew my transmission

well today i pulled in to get something to eat and when i put it in park i felt a bit of a slam and didnt think anything of it really, got back in a little bit later and went to leave and i wasnt really moving anywhere untell about 10-15 MPH soo im like wow, what the hell is going on... so i pulled over and put it in first and it would BARELY move so long story short on the tranny i lost 1st 3rd Reverse and the rest barely work, my neutral is drive and neutral lol. i have no money for a new one and this is my ONLY car and i have to get to school and work both 5 days a week, my school is 60 miles round trip and works another 15... i have 600 and im trying to get a way to get 2500 altogether so i can get a TCI tranny and installation and everything else what a shitty thing .... money wouldnt be a problem except ive tried everyone i know, i dont want a loan, and i pay 300 for car 414 for insurance a month and about 90 a week for gas lol i hate this

I feel your pain man, just blew mine last week as well. Got a new one from performabuilt, great guys to talk to! Ask Frank from Performabuilt what you should do. If money's tight, perhaps a used tranny may be in order? Wish there was an easy fix man, that sucks.

lol thats great, my DD is my car thats down so im not doin to well myself, im ordering my transmission here in the next couple of days and i dont know if i should get the TCI streetfighter 450 horse tranny with no stall for 2300 shipped or the PerformaBuilt mid level 650 horse 2500 stall for 2000 shipped, im most likely going to go with performabuilt but im hoping i can get some opinions fast on it.

Look at one of our level 3 units or a unit from one of the other vendors with similar parts.

We do not put hp #'s on the web page because these units fit many different applications. However for a fbody with just bolt ons I think that the level 3 will work just fine. The level 4 is more for head and cam cars with the usual bolt ons. I would say probably good to 400-500rwhp NA.

Our HP ratings are based on camaros and impalas more so on the heavier impala. Give me a call tomorrow to talk about what you have . 5705785686
