I have now finished all the bolt-ons except a pulley and a electric water pump. The car is an A4. I have a Shaner ported TB (w. TB bypass), LS6 intake manifold, Pacesetter LTs, and 2.5 in. custom true duals (X pipe), and I just got a tune from the guys over at Green Light Motorsports. The only thing he really told me afterwards was he said it was running rich before, so hopefully getting that straightened out helped power a bit too.
I went to the track last fall with none of the intake stuff and an ORY/Hooker instead of the duals and ran a best of 13.15@106.4 with a 2.04 60'. The DA that day was 124.
I went earlier this spring with the intake stuff, but still with the ORY/Hooker and ran a 13.04@106.97 with a 1.998 60'. The DA was 1827 that day.
The last time I went to the track I had the same setup I do now except I didn't have the tune yet. That trip I ran a 13.10@107.6 with a 2.1 60' (no grip at all that day). The DA was 2188 that day.
After seeing what I have and the kinds of times i ran before the tune, what kind of power do you think I'm making now? I just did a little calculation and if I'm able to make 350rwhp now, with a 18% loss, I would be making about 425hp at the flywheel. That would be awesome :). What do you think I would be making now?
