Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but do you have any pics of the underside of the hood or the bottom of the radiator support where you trimmed? I'm trying to figure out where to trim on my glasstek. Figured I just need to copy how your underside of the hood looks like.

Im also thinking of making a nice looking black radiator support out of sheetmetal and somehow making a hold down tab kinda like batterys use on both sides of the airbox so I dont have screws drilled threw the lid. I just want to make sure I have a good seal on the lid and everything looks clean and not butchered. Im not against not using the ls1 base if the ls1 lid swap looks presentable. Its no show car by any means but some ls1 lid swap look

If you are planning on using the LS1 rad support, it will not fit...

(I have a 4" Glasstek hood and tried it)
