Default drilled & slotted????

so the sticky says that drilled and slotted brake rotors are actually a waste of time and money...not to mention a great way to hamper performance. it also says that modern race pads don't off gas.........well that's fantastic, except i don't plan on running race pads, i plan on running hawk ceramics.

do hawk ceramics off gas???

Not unless you get them really, really hot. And even then, it's doubtful that they would outgas. If they do, they'll only do it the first time you get them really hot (I don't just mean warm, I'm talking about 20 minutes on a road course kind of warm). So, it's not likely you'd ever have any problems from them that would require those rotors.
