Texas Members - Once a day is just too damn much.

I'm sorry, but I gota rant about this. I'm tired of seeing the same for sale threads again and again and again being bumped, particularly Shackleford's. He uses the damn rule to its fullest by bumping that shit everyday. I guess that's why there's rules for everything, but my gosh, that shit is way too often.

How many of you are tired of seeing all the damn for sale threads of his? Then bumping them everyday? Every time I hop on the site, view the Texas section, what do ya know, Shackeford's for sale threads are right there! They might as well be stickies. Then every time I turn around, there's like another being created or bumped.

You can hammer me all you want and I know its going to happen because of my past, but I have ONE for sale thread for parts and ONE for sale thread for my motorcycle. I bump them ONCE a WEEK. I feel that's fair, not everyday.

This shit has been bugging me every damn day and I'm finally coming out to say it. If I'm the only one that's bugged by it, so be it. I just wanted to get this out there and hope that things will change.

By the way, no offense to you Shackleford, but damn boy, chill out on all your for sale threads. Have 1 or 2 threads. Sort them out by category or something, rather than a thread for each part. Bump them every few days or whatever. I'm not saying you have to follow in my footsteps at once a week, but once a day is overboard.

Not to mention everyone else that bumps their for sale threads EVERY DAY. Have I once talked shit in their threads, no. I have I ever potentially hurt the sale, no. Have I ever made suggestions in someone's threads that had negativity, no.

My point of making this thread was so that the staff could look at this AND the guys who AGREE with me could post their thoughts as well so that something could be done about it.

I know this is the Texas section and topics here are discussed that aren't car related and that's cool and all, but seriously, his are just flat out bazaar.

I ask for help on something non-car related and it gets locked up or deleted, but he can post dumb shit and it stays open to discuss.

Members post for sale threads to obviously sell things. Sure, that's a given. I have for sale threads of my own. Do I want my items sold, absolutely. Do I want them sold immediately, sure, but that usually doesn't happen. Do I go off bumping them everyday, no, once a week. Do I feel that once a day is excessive, hell fuckin' yeah. Yeah people have bitched on my threads and it bumps them, but I rather avoid that because majority of it was potentially hurting the sale which ISN'T ALLOWED. So no, they're not doing me a favor.

What does all of this matter to you anyways? Are you offended everytime this happens? Does your heart weaken everytime a thread is bumped? You know dude, sometimes threads get slammed to the bottom just because it was posted at the wrong time of day and not many people are posting. That's what the whole point of the bump is.

As long as they're not doing it more than once a day, then I see no problems.
