Default Should I do it?

One of my buddies has an LS1 pulled out of his 00 T/A its built with and LS6 intake, Fast 90/90, hooker LT's, Pacesetter ORY, and many other mods, he said hed sell it to me for 2500...also have a friend that has an A4 from a 99 Z28 that hed give to me, should I do it?

LS6 intake and a Fast 90/90? I thought Fast was the intake and tb setup..

I assume you mean swap above into a LTx car. I say go for it if you are in need of a new motor. Also I think if it has the Fast 90/90, that means the fast 90 mm intake manifold with fast 90 mm throttle body (not cheap), therefore it does not have a LS6 intake.

ya, my bad on the ls6 intake, i was trying to remeber which it was and that came to my head 1st and i typed it down, forgot to remove it

do you know how many miles are on it, or how its been treated? because that price is damn nice. especially the price on the tranny

the motor has 75000 on it, ive only known the guy for a year or two, so i dont know how it has been treated, i assume its been driven pretty hard

i say take that $2500 and put in a h/c for your lt1 .don't be a sellout

Well does he have worked heads? You say built, does it have forged pistons and rods? If it's stock other than the intake system, I might take a second look at the $2500. If you can get the headers and the y pipe too, that makes it better but I don't know that I'd give $2500 for stock long block.
