Introductions & Greetings - New member from Australia!

Hey guys (and gals!), my name is Keith and i'm from Australia!

I received a link to one of the threads on this forum (LS1 into a Vaxhaull Astra) from an Australian forum and thought i'd join up and say hello, show off my ride and comment on some of the fantastic cars you guys have over there!

I'll tell you a bit about my car, then i'll get busy and make a thread with pics!

I drive a 1980 Holden Torana sedan. I'm half way through fitting my brand new ZZ383 motor and driveline! The best part of the conversion is over, once done i'm chasing an 11sec 1/4mile time.

I cant see my signature pic for some reason, but thats my car!! Weighs less than 1200kg (2500lbs??) and has been estimated to have around 450HP, but for now i'll say 425 as thats what GM dynoed the motor at. I've added some aftermarket goodies to the motor!

You'll see there is a black line stretching from about the top on the eastern side to the bottom on the east! I live at the top of the black line! The distance from the top to the bottom is 3500km and i drove it late last year! Was a fantastic drive too! I have heaps of photos!

Drag racing is hardcore over here! I am a fanatic myself! American muscle is also big over here, i have a mate who's just imported a 'cuda, got it registered and cruises around in it! He runs 12.2's in it all day! There are heaps of US cars over here, I love chevs!! Hence why i've bought a chev motor for my car!
