I have a friend with a 2003 2.0 VW Golf, its needing some tranny fluid, only thing is the damn manual doesnt have one thing about where or how to do so. (prolly so you have to have VW do it) But ive been around a few FWD trannys and know what to find but im not seeing it on his. Does anyone have one or know where the dipstick is on the Vee Dubbb in Da Haus? :bang:

A lot of new cars don't have a dipstick or a fill tube. They don't expect you to ever change the fluid, its supposed to be good for the life of the transmission:bs:
Why would you need to add fluid anyways? Unless its leaking, it shouldn't use any fluid, and if it does, you might have a pretty serious problem.

its not that is has a leak or is real bad just shifts kinda hard every once and a great while.....i figure it to need a half quart at the most.
