Default Why can I never make up my mind ever?

Now I fell in love with a 2007 f-150 king ranch in the metallic brown color. Thats the best color on any vehicle I have ever seen. That color combo with the king ranch dark interior is awesome. **** why cant I ever make up my mind. I was trying to buy a tundra yesterday but we could not get the numbers right so I did not buy. Its like I think I know exactly what I want then I see something else. HAHAH. Anyone own a King ranch?

dude why dont you just get a deisel, so when you get another car (which you will) you can make it bad as **** and be able to tow it wherever you want?

or if you like street cars, you could tow a friends race car OR you could use your deisel power to pull people out of the mud when they get stuck? ive seen guys get 500 bucks a truck for that stuff.

Yeah, for what you pay for a decked out F-150 you can probably get a well equipped F-250 Diesel. The 07 F-250s should be discounted pretty heavily since the new 08s are already out. Just my 2 cents...

Bill, what is your max budget? That might help us suggest stuff. If you want a badass diesel 4x4, I might sell mine. Looking at Escalades and Denali pickups now.

I'm looking to probably stay in the 35k range. I can get a nicely equipped crew max tundra and possibly a king ranch around that price. Tony your truck is BADASS but I'm sure worth its allot more than I can afford. But if I bought your truck I would 1st have to sell my car outright. I could probably get 13-14k for my car out right then I would also throw down around 5k. So I would have close to a 20k down payment. Im only going to driving this truck. Never have plans to tow anything. I know a diesel truck is BADASS but I don't know if I have a use for it. Especially a 4x4 But I would love to take that truck off your hands How many miles are on it? And Im pretty sure I could not get a f-250 for 35k. I sat in a kingranch f-250 today and it was the sickest truck I have ever seen.

Whatever you do........do not get a powerstroke. They are pieces of ****. Add a programmer and you will be replacing both head gaskets. Man, Im telling you, you would love a diesel. I wouldnt take for mine and I work and drive the **** out of it everyday and the fuel mileage is superior to gasoline trucks. As far as the Cummins/auto combination........I saw a personal first yesterday. I rode in a stock 05 Dodge 3500 Cummins/auto and we were hauling 5" drill stem. We grossed 46,000 and the truck would run 75-80. It also took 2 miles to get stopped tho. Really.......you are gonna want something that runs good so why not buy an 03-up Dodge diesel, buy a big chip and go run 14's.

I'd consider letting mine go for $35K with the following:

2006 diesel automatic, 19K miles
I spent over $3,000 on the 20" chrome wheels and 33" tires
$900 for the TST tuner (400 hp, 800 ft-lbs)
$350 for the 4" MBRP exhaust
$50 for the air filter
$150 for the grille
$400 for the painted fender flares
$100 for the chrome door strip
$100 for the rubber bed mat

Hey Billy with gas the way it might not be so smart to be buying trucks, esp. you sinceyou dont really "need" it for anything. Just a thought.

Chase, I simply didn't need the huge cab. This one seats three adults in the back just fine. The Mega cab also has a shorter bed and is as long as my dually was. That made it not so fun to find parking spots for it.

20K down on a truck? That can be the worst investment you ever make. It will be. Use that money to pay off some CC debt or put it toward your house. Something to help you save or make $$, not lose it. Ive never put down more than 500.00 on any vehicle and even know with a 39K F-150 FX4 fully loaded, pmts. are only 600.00.

Let me give you an example of how a large down pmt could be a bad investment. I know someone who had shitty credit and sold a house and came into some cash. Put down 20k on a mustang and still financed 7k. A few missed pmts. later and car got repo'd with no chance of refinancing.
20k+ dealer reselling car= 50,000 dollar v6 mustang, cool huh.
Im not saying you couldnt keep up with your note but you see the moral of the story.
If any of us were hurt and couldnt work it could be easy to lose it all.
Do yourself a favor, rethink putting that much down.

Bad example. Sounds like the lesson there is do not miss your payments and be a slacker douchebag that should have SOLD the car before getting it repo'd. Putting that much down would have guaranteed he wouldn't have been upside down on the car and would have walked away with cash in his pocket.
