Default clutch ?'s ZO6 vs LS7

is a ZO6 clutch considered a LS7 set? Or are they two completely different components?

ZO6=LS6?

There are two different Z06 clutches for the two generations. LS6 clutch for the C5 Z06 and LS7 clutch for the C6 Z06. The LS7 clutch kit is used by many on here and it seems at least 90% of the people are happy with them.

The downside to the LS7 clutch setup is we have to use the LS2 flywheel which is a good amount heavier than the LS1 flywheel. The upside, it is only around $450 shipped from a couple of our sponsors, though I think they are still on backorder.

The LS6 clutch kit can be found for the same price if you look at some sponsors (Byunspeed and SDPC) but obviously it will not handle quite as much power and abuse (which is why most people are going with the LS7 clutch)

Both kits come with flywheels.

I personally went on ebay and found someone who is a dealer for LUK (the company who manufactures the LS6 clutches) and purchased the LS6 kit for under $300.
