Default Is my pump cover trashed?? Guru's inside please!

Converter trashed my trans and I'm in the process of rebuilding...

Is this pump cover trashed? It has minor gouging from the pump vanes... What do you think?

The grooves you see are where trash has gone through the pump . I cant from the picture tell how deep they are, I can say that we would not use that pump back or it would be machined if the grooves were minor, But also I have seen trans working perfectly with worse, Personally though I would replace it if the funds are available, Pump are not that expensive. A good used one can be found on ebay very reasonable so you might look at that as a possibility , Or check out one of the vendors here I think some sell hard parts we presently do not,

Here is a link for one of our pumps. The finish on these pumps is similar to a CD.

That's scored very badly. It will likely continue to delaminate causing metal chips to get stuck god know's where. You also are going to lose pump output due to leakage under the vanes. Reusing that pump cover is a ticking time bomb.
