Paint & Body Work - Fire Hawk hood?

I have a 2000 Trans Am and I have purchased a fire hawk hood, Now sence buying it I have been told that I have to change the front bumper. Is this true? If anyone could give me some info I would appreciate it.

yeah needs a dif. bumper, if you want resell the hood and get the raptor hood which is the hawk without the bumper but its aftermarket.

No you do not need a new bumper.
All that is required is a small section to be cut off. Which is covered up by the FireHawk Badge.

Sorry no pictures, but I think if you email SLP they will send you a pdf link for installation instructions on the hood. Which will show you the required details.
