Instrument panel lights fuse keeps blowing?
Alright, Someone help me out here this is driving me insane! A couple of weeks ago I hopped into my car at my friends house around 12:30-1AM to head home. Started the car and the lights kind of blinked on the dash and shut off.. So I say **** it I'll just be careful and make sure I'm not speeding. So the next morning I go outside and check out the 5 Amp "IP Dimmer" fuse and it's blown. Alright, no spare 5 Amp fuse around. So I head to the 95 Z28 and pull the IP fuse from that and pop it in. Now the lights were ok for about 1 night and I went WOT onto the highway and they shut off again! So now I'm pissed and just continue without them for the night again and I get home and put a new fuse in and it just blows right away. So there must be a short somewhere I'm assuming but where do I even start with this thing!

Do me a favor and pull the 'gauges' fuse. It should be a 10amper. Then try and start the car and see if the 'IP dimmer' fuse pops.
