I'm finishing uploading the pictures from last night's test & tune.

Quickest car was Donahue's black Chevy II from last year's race, he managed to put down an 8.70. Noone was hooking tonight, he didn't hook on that pass either and he finished his funny car cage so I'm fairly certain he's expecting a sub 8.50! :drive:

It seemed to hok real early. but we were bringing it in slow i mada a pass about 15 min before the rain and spun hard. my car doesn't really leavre hard so i know the other guys had to be all over the place. i did manage a 149mph pass.

Nice pics, that blue 67 cutlass with the procharged big block looks awesome.

The track was there about an hour after opening up. Sticky but no rubber changed to MAJOR hook (bumper time on one car) and then back to "iffy." They were scraping the track today when we were out there, so we got fingers crossed for a skyward launch set-up tomorrow!

He made a few low 9 second passes, but man is that thing loud!!

Couple of LS1 cars there, a black Camaro and a white T/A. Got a few pics myself and I'll be sending those over after the weekend.

His best pass during elimination was a 9.10 at 153ish. In the final it was a 9.22 vs the chargers 9.30. From the stands it looked like the charger had him but the ls1 got the win light.

seemed like the track started to hook pretty good after the sun went down. the tt viper and the black nova didnt make it. nova didnt pass tech(heard it was due to something with the way the front struts were mounted but dont really know) and the viper missed a check point on the cruise. they had a grudge match late in the night and both cars were flirting with the 7's at 170+ mph.

the black ss wasnt the fastest car there all night but it was fairly consistant and made low 9 second passes almost all night. good job and way to bring home the victory for the ls1 crowd............

hogan altered his supension(front shock mount or bar?) and was dq'd and heffners viper missed a checkpoint even though he was told he was good to go and was dq'd, hogan ran a 8.3 to heffners 8.teens? with the viper getting the win light, that was a hell of a show!

HUGE congrats to shiz in his 2000 Z28 for taking it home and to ashley as well for getting a jacket for most legit 9 second whip!

He was just test and tuning thursday, not in the event, high 11's low 12's? whooped up on a C6 Z06

Sorry to hear that, the 8.5" 10 bolt had been holding up to mid 9s soft launching(1.5s). Last we spoke he had found more power and was not able to get it to hook but figured the track for this would let him hook and he was afraid of finding a new weakness. Finding weaknesses is what a 9 second 4400lbs car will do though. Do you believe it is still a 4L60E in that car?

Let's be honest he never really had a shot at winning overall but for a PIG like that to get noticed in a bunch of cars at this level is pretty impressive anyway.

I love the car, it's extremely impressive, he was one of about 15 guys I felt REALLY bad for, lots of misfortune for really nice people at this event :(

The guy with the Impala posted more info on the Impala board.
Seems Moser was using studs that were wrong or weak and have admitted it. He sheard all 5 studs on the launch so the 8.5" 10 bolt is fine and the repair is just like $50 in hardware.
