5th Gear f***** up?? When driving every gear will go in fine but then once i try to go into fifth it doesnt go any grinds like a mother F*** what could be the problem? The only thing i have done is a short throw its a pro 5.0 PLEASE HELP

mine grinds a tad bit sometimes shifting in to 5th, its a worn tooth on the gear... My buddy actually had the transmission rebuilt a before I put it in, 1-3 are stronger, and 4th are fine but he just left 5th like it was because its not a power gear.
I bet its your syncro, its probably completely destroyed. The reverse in my old lt1 camaro wouldnt stay in gear and you had to hold it just right so it wouldnt grind.

It is really hard to determain what is wrong without taking the trans apart & inspecting it.
I could guess shift fork pads, shift collars/syncro, or sliders keys.
You just wont know till your inside looking at it
