Is this normal from a shot? LG motorosports. Im looking to get a c5 z06. and a very good friend of mine has an 01 that was put into the shop for i beleive some tranny work at LG Motorsports.
I was talking to him today he was told that it would be 2-3 days of work to fix the car. He brought it over when he was told to and left it. He calls them today, 3 days or so after dropping it of and asked for an update. he was told " bobby the tech hasnt looked at it yet"....
so my buddy talks to bobby and says " looks its my only car.. and was told 2-3 days.. whats going on??"
the tech tells him to basically just come get his car then.
WTF kinda of **** is this??? is this the kinda of support you see from a vendor you are dropping $3k in repair work at?
is this normal? or a freak occurance?

Your friend should probably take his car to an actual transmission shop. Most shops will just refer the tranny work to someone else and just act as a middle man. He should pick it up and ask around for any suggestions for a reputable tranny shop.

My car sat untouched at a local shop for 3 weeks once, then I decided to do my own work on it.
Personally I would have talked to Lou directly before posting, he's a stand up guy and runs a good business over there. If he knew someone was pissing off customers he'd take care of the problem. Then again he might be a pretty busy guy now with his TV show and several race series he's involved with now.

Lou called my buddy and handled it Incredibly proffesionally.. Very much restored faith in lGM as a top shop.. Props to lou for handling this like a 100% proffessional. Looks like LGM Does know what customer service is and is willing to go where ever it takes for the customer..

Zer Von Feldmanstein! yes, we have been busy, but the proper parts were ordered before hand ( a LOT of parts from RPM trans and Liberty in general) and yes we do rebuild T56s using those parts, same stuff that goes into the race car trannies goes into the street car stuff
The Trans is out of the car today, being torn apart tomorrow and rebuilt monday!
David, Ill email you my cell if I get near my compter tomorrow.
