I thought I'd jump on the wagon... 56k WARNING WARNING
Since everyone seems to have good weather today I decided to take the TA up behind a book store by my school and take a few pictures. They aren't great, but I briefly read through Josh's picture thread and thought why not. The car was washed yesterday so its a bid dusty, and I had to clone tool the crap out of some signs, grass etc. Let me know what you guys think. (I took about 20 pics and these 4 were the best I got. Lol

Again, comments and opinions welcome! Thanks guys.
EDIT: Oh, and I can't hold a camera still for the life of me, sorry! Also the writing at the bottom corners of the pic reads 'trust' imaging, I couldn't think of anything cool so I put it in a font you cant read!

Be careful of blowing out the highlights. On your car different lighting would have helped. What time of the day were these taken? Overall, nice compositions. Be careful when using wide apertures to ensure the subject is in focus. In some of the shots, the ground is in focus, but the car isn't. There's a lot that can be done in post production to adjust a shot, but focus has to be right in the camera.

First and foremost, the car looks gorgeous man. The color, the wheels, the stance, everything. Pretty good set of pictures too.
Construtive criticism time (dont worry, I do this to even my own photographs).
Overall composition is pretty good for the whole set. I'd focus a little more on the rule of thirds but you've almost got it nailed down. Onto the pics individually...
1 - Focus is soft on the car. The front of the car is also poorly lit while the foreground is very bright. Its throwing things off for me.
2 - Washed out due to the light. Focus is soft here too.
3 - Again the lighting is harsh and detracting from the picture.
4 - Very solid composition and a great, great angle on the car. Its your best shot of the series. If the lighting was better this would be a downright kickass shot.
5 - Same as the problems in the other ones, a little soft on the focus and the lighting issues.
Overall a great start though man. A steady hand (or tripod, ideally) and better lighting and those photographs would go from good to incredible. I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures from you and I could honestly look at your car all day long so I dont even care if you just go outside and snap a shot in your driveway not even trying post that stuff up so we can admire your 'bird.

FWIW, if you're shooting in aperture priority mode you can also bump the aperture up numerically (actually making the aperture smaller and the depth of field deeper) to around f8 and it'll help with focus but it'll also require longer shutter speeds introducing the chance of messing up the focus through camera shake. Thats why I prefer to maintain a larger aperture and shallower depth of field of around the f/3.5-5.5 range and use a tripod to correct camera shake and keep things in focus when necessary.
