Time and patience. I wish I would have spend more time getting the casting marks off the runners but its too late for that. Basically I wrapped my finger with sandpaper for the tight spaces. But the most important thing is putting time into it, dont rush prepping.

Its 30th Aniversary blue. It appears a bit lighter in the pictures that what it really is. Its the same color as the stripes on my hood. Heres a link to some pics for better judgement on the shade. https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/713106-first-summer-wax-t-pics.html

I don't know if I should just go red or silver because everything like my calipers to the sticker on the back glass is red or black... post pics of some red intakes or silver on a white car.

Weird light coming in on the underhood shot. Isn't that bright as seen in first two pics.

Here is my dad's painted intake on his 04 GTO. He had a guy locally paint it for him. I've been trying to get him to paint mine with blue flames but he wont budge, he said it was a one time deal.

the quality of that paint job is just amazing but on the red goat, I dunno. Still, top notch. I will probably just leave mine black because I know eventually I will get the Fast 90/90 or something else along those lines and then I may paint that.
