Default got my 9 second daily driver back friday

been a long time since august 04 but i made it back in friday

too bad the overboost function in EB2 owned me in 3rd gear and i burped the throttle 3 times to keep boost over 10psi; obs clipped at 19, i had run 146mph and change on an earlier pass at lower boost.

the pass afterwards was a 7psi launch opposed to the 5psi that went 1.66, ended up doing a 'for show' burnout about 1/4 track.

9.84 at 144.3 (1.66) was on 315/35/17 MT Dr's, through the stainless works cat back.

i feel pretty good it will go 9.50 or so in full street trim of course on good gas for insurance, going to try these hg's from fel-pro and go to a track that will hold more boost.

it looked like this pass, but not so slow at the beginning

no new race media yet

thanks again to everyone that pitched in on the car

its truly a very nice, quiet car to drive, here's a few pics amsterdamn took from our beach trip last weekend

oh i forgot some FI related information

combination of the pt-900 a/w cooler part of the tti race kit with water only and twin meth nozzles from snow, my IAT's at 18# were a mind-bottleing 80*F

also noted my advance is currently at 15* at the boost i was at.

i was running the meth, about 3 gallons of 93 oct. and 5 gallons of 110 leaded

awesome MM!!!! I am going to Orlando next weekend but weekend after that I am gonna take the torch back

Nice to see the OBS does its job....i just bumped mine up....gotta love the EB2!!!

can you post the whole slip? Sounds like you got a TON left in the first 1/8 mile. 4l80 and the drag radials makes a 9 sec pass feel like a country drive!!

Congrats!!!

Thats great, lot more left in the 60 foot, should be some pretty easy 9.50-9.40s with that mph.

And look at that 116mph at the 1/8th, looks like 146-147mph will be very easy.

Congrats David. Like Kyle said, you need to come out to VMP where your car will hook better. Looks like its time for a real cage in your car also.
