New Guy!!! (Long & Lots of Pics) Hello everyone! My name is Jay, and i'm a car junkie!
Ever since I could remember i've loved cars, especially Chevys! My parents have been my largest influence, having several Camaros, Chevelles, and the like while I was growing up. I've worked my
to beable to support my habit. These are my cars:
2002 Z06 Corvette I purchased 2 years ago this month. It has 16,3xx miles, and I LOVE IT! I bought it bone stock off of a 50 something year old stock broker.
The Mods i've put are:
Halltech Stinger Warhead Filter
BBK Aluminum Air Bridge
American Racing Headers w/ Catted X Pipe
Corsa Pace Car Cat Back w/ Tiger Shark Tips
Elite Engineering Oil Catch Can
Lowered on Stock Bolts

Here is the Dyno Sheet from when I had the Headers put on a few months back.
It's fast as $hit, and loud!
I haven't taken to the track yet, but I can't wait to take it down a 1/4 mile or road coarse.
But, the Vette wasn't my first addiction. That would have to be my 67 RS/SS 350 Camaro! This was the car i've always wanted as a kid. I've had it for 7 years now, and have practically sunk every spare dollar I could on it in that time. When I bought it, it needed everything paint, interior, engine work, you name it. It's a matching #'s car, but let's just say it's not in stock form.
Here it is next to my Vette at the GoodGuys Autumn Get Together last year:
You can basically tell what's not stock and what is. I've got the interior out right now, cause it's getting the following:
97 Camaro Front Bucket Seats Redone in Black Leather w/ Red Stitching
Matching Back seat in 4th Gen Camaro Pattern
New Stock Headliner
New Molded Carpet in 4th Gen style Material
Lizard Skin Sound Control Sound Deadening
Fat Mat Sound Deadening Top to Bottom
So hopefully i'll have that done soon so I can enjoy summer time in it.
I spend a LOT of time on the corvetteforum, camaros.net, zo6vette.com, and a few other forums. A guy I know told me about this one so I though i'd check it out. I'm looking forward to finding some new info and contacts in the LS engine world.
