Default lower just the back end?

Hi,
I have a 01 ws6, and don't like the (huge!!) gap between the top of the tyre and the arch at the back.
I did think I might be able to put a bigger tyre on a bigger rim, but now don't think there is enough room.
I also have a WW air dam, so do not want to lower the front of the car.

So my question is, can I lower just the back of the car to close up the gap, and what are the dissadvantages of doing this?
All input is welcome,

Many thanks,
Paul.

Do a search under the HOSE MOD, I did this to my z28 to close the gap it had in the rear.

A bigger wheel and tire will only make the gap worse. It will raise the car.

As said look for the hose mod.

why would it make the gap between the tire and the wheel well worse? it's not like a bigger tire will cause the spring to suddenly get stiffer and make it extend farther or something. however, like you said, it will lift the whole rear end up, so the body would be higher off the ground and create a bigger gap there, but i think it would still close up some of the gap between the tire and the wheel well.

but i agree, the hose mod should drop the body by somewhere around 3/4" and close in some of that gap.
