Default 416ci L92 Build ?s

I am having a 416ci L92 built while I am deployed this year. A few questions I have is... What is a good estimate as far as the HP/TQ this engine will provide? ( Now I know it depends on the cam for this, so my next question.....) What would be a good cam spec for a daily driver that hits the dragstrip alot? I don't mind the shaking etc..., but don't want it to almost cutoff at a redlight either. My goals would be to have between 500-550 RWHP on a NA 416ci L92 in a 06' GTO w/ a4.

That's a good setup imo. Get w/comp and have them spec out a cam with the l92 heads. I went the L92/L76 setup on a LS2 block stroked to a 402. Comp will probably reccomend a reverse split, somewhere in the neighborhood of .615 on the intake and .600 on the exhaust, with a 245 duration on the intake and 255ish on the exhaust. You might want to have the heads milled though, cause if I remember correctly, that setup is somewhere in the 10.7:1 range. I would do a .640/.620 250 255 on a 112 lsa @ .050 and get a good tune and you should be in the 550 hp range. Good luck. Where you deploying to? I just got back from Mosul, Iraq.

Headed to the Southeastern sector. Still unclear on specifics. Last time I was in the Diyala Province. That place was terrible. Not as bad as the Anbar province though from what I have heard. Thanks for the info btw.

No reason you shouldn't see 500-550rwhp and 500rwtq with good heads and a relatively small cam.

My Vengeance L92 416" went 538/500 with their 254/599 111 cam and TFS 225's right off the rack.

Cam is completely streetable(to me). It's "all in the tune".

Hopefully picks up a few more(12)with some more street miles/break in-

Good luck with your build!
