Does my numbers seem low
I have the G5X4 in and had only a street tune. I went to a dyno Sat and put down 391 rwhp and 382 ft/lbs. Does that seem low? My mods are LG Pro lt's, no cats, B&B bullets, CAI, stock heads, and stock manilfold. Its a 99 6spd coupe. w/ 70k miles
I ran a 7.4 @ 96 in a 1/8 and I kinda figured if I ran that shouldnt I be making more power to turn those times?
Plus a good friend had the same exact set up but with a G5X3 and had a dyno and street tune and made 415 rwhp and 391 ft/lbs. I know ever car is different but a bigger cam should make more power.
My question is should I get a Dyno tuned to sqeeze some more or is that it?
Thanks for input

btw I am thinking that 99 vettes had the LS1 intake, not exactly sure on that. Put on a LS2, LS6 or fast LSX-if you can afford it. That will get you 15-20 rear wheel extra ponies too. Then dyno tune it.

I don't know why you think your numbers should be that high with stock LS1 853 heads and a LS1 intake manifold. I think 391 is very respectable number for your car! I would agree your numbers would be low on a LS6 (Z06) but that is because of the better heads and intake.

I had called LG them selves and they said thats very low for my Coupe. I need a dyno tune to get the right power my car should be making.
I didnt know the Air/fuel ratio, my friends vette with the same set up but had the G5X3 made 415 and ran 93 mph. I know every car is different but I should at least make close if not higher. Im probley going to get a LS6 intake and get a dyno tune. Thanks everyone for the inputs
