Default LS7 pushrod length?

I have searched and searched here but cannot find the answer. Does anyone know the stock LS7 lifter pushrod length? I've been told 7.800" but just want to be sure.

Default LS7 Pushrod Length

The LS7 has 7.75" pushrods that are about 3/8" in diameter. This is useful as a starting point, but only if you're running a cam with the same base circle, head and head gasket configuration and your block is standard height.

Measure with a Comp Pushrod length tool to be sure!

Absolutely. Here's the thing, I am having custom rods manufactured with smaller ID oil holes to help keep so much oil from pumping to the top of the heads, so I need a length starting point as you said. I wish someone made adjustable rockers, that would give a lot of aid in dialing in the exact preload on the hyd lifter with a pushrod that is 'close'. So I guess I'm gonna have to install the new cam and heads, mic the length with my pushrod checker THEN order my custom length pushrods. Damn, that's gonna take too much time of out my fun time with this new beast! Thanks for the info Scat.
