Ticking noise????
well i had installed a cam a couple months ago and had the usual valvetrain noise (sewing machine) but this past week the drivers side has seemed to have gotten alot louder. i pulled the valve cover and checked to make sure the rockers weren't comeing loose and they were tight. also tryed putting the stock plug wires back on thinkin maybe it may be arching but still no luck. any ideas on what this could be??????

here is a few threads with the same issue.. some say piston slap, some say valve train, some say bearings. mine does it and others have been been doing it for some time without issue.

no one really knows!! this has been discussed alot and several people have torn down their whole engine without a hint of an issue. I suggest get a louder a radio or exhaust and dont worry about it!
